Christine Franzese, AGNP-C, CDCES
Christine Franzese is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience in adult health and has spent the last 9 years of her career caring for patients with diabetes. She joins our team from the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. During her career she has obtained two Master degrees- Healthcare and Leadership: Health Promotion, Education, and Technology from the University of Rochester (2006), and Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester (2020). Christine is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and has maintained this certification since 2014. Her special interests include patient education, diabetes technology including insulin pumps and glucose sensors, and partnering with patients and families to improve overall health. Personally, Christine is married to her husband, Matt, for 22 years, and has two sons, Christopher and Zachary.
